If you select Search for Views, the view name is without the "_" underscore.
In SAP GUI there are a number of transactions, you can use, good ol' SE11, select the View radio button, then select the F4 value help and select either "Search for Views" or "Search for Data Definitions". This is by no means an exhaustive list, in the end though, these methods were enough for me to find the details I was looking for. Turns out as with most things there are many ways to view the structure, annotations and details of a particular CDS view.
I hadn't looked into the details of CDS views for quite some time, beyond just finding a view I wanted, extracting some data and then using the data from it, further down in my pipeline. I planned on using the CDS views as part of a data extraction PoC in SAP Data Intelligence. Recently, I needed to take a more detailed look at some CDS views that were available on a S/4HANA 2020 system I was using.
