I think the earliest capital ships will all see a price bump (Reclaimer, BMM), but once they got used to pricing capitals like the endevor, orion, cruicible, and Hull D you saw their prices much better matched their size. Correct me if im wrong, but, because it never had a "Concept sale" and will likely go straight into hangar Soon TM, they are having it go for sale one last time at its kickstarter price.
Another thing that throws a curve into ship price predictions is the Caterpillar. The starfarer going up makes me nervous about a limited sale ship I have been saving a long time for and am ready to buy next limited ship sale (November?). Of course you are totally right on your point regarding rarity (890 Jump/Phoenix) and Alien ships (mainly vanduul). So with that said, your BMM, Gemini, Orion, HUll Series, Reclaimers, etc will all have a substantial price increase at hanger ready and then again when flyable. If you want to see past prices you can check this site, but I'll need to maintain my list still or I wont know how much the price has gone up which I need. Added a column of whether or not the ship is always on sale to help you plan a CCU. Notice an error please reply and I'll correct it asap. All values match the RSI CCU prices regardless of sales or warbond. I couldn't find a current list of ship CCU values so I spent some time and made my own.
